Mi Amigo Memorial

Last year, I was asked by RAFA (Sheffield) 'The Royal Air Force Association, Sheffield to design a special panel for a bench that is part of the Mi Amigo memorial site to remember the 10 man crew who all perished when their USAF B17 Bomber 'Mi Amigo' crashed in Endcliffe Park, Sheffield on 22nd February 1944.

The panel would be made out of metal and laser cut. It took six months but we finally installed the finished piece on Thursday 17th April 2025.

The metal and the laser cutting were generously donated and undertaken by a local Sheffield company who did not wish to be identified.
