I like producing high quality magazines packed full of information, that leave readers wanting to know more about a subject. Snippets of information that light fires under people leaving them wanting to dig deeper and carry out their own research.

The Harthill Heritage Magazine is not the first history magazine I have published. From the mid 1990s to 2015 I published 'The Indiaman Magazine'. This was a genealogical and history magazine for people with British and European ancestors in India and South Asia from 1600 to the 20th century. I had subscribers in 25 countries around the world.

Through the magazine I carried out genealogical research for people all over the world. Over time I had a small team of genealogical researchers who also helped me and we researched people's family histories and obtained birth, marriage, death and army service records etc. I even reunited long lost friends and family after decades apart!

Publication of The Indiaman Magazine also meant I was interviewed on several radio stations and also asked to carry out research for 3 episodes of the BBC's award winning TV programme, 'Who Do You Think You Are?' you will see my name amongst the end credits of each of those episodes.

The Harthill Heritage Magazine is a high quality publication packed full of interesting information. It is not a FREE magazine that is heavy on adverts and light on content that go straight in the recycling bin as soon as they drop through your letterbox. The Harthill Heritage Magazine is a coffee-table magazine that people will keep, share and treasure.
